Germ Free Generation
Summary
Angel throws a milkshake in Logan's face but then chases after his bike when he nearly leaves her behind. He tells her the world hates mutants, so deal with it.
A newbie U-Man is ordered to cut off Scott's head; he hesitates, and Emma has time to free herself from Johansson's control. Scott blasts the saw, and Emma amplifies the pain of her broken nose into the U-Men's minds.
U-Men attack the mansion; Jean confronts them with just the students to help her. Irina does ventriloquism from the mouths in her throat, bluffing that they are surrounded by invisible guards, but the U-Men scan infrared and see nobody's there. Emma's "Village of the Damned" girls mount a telepathic attack, but the U-Men are trained and fight past it. They open fire with razor-guns, and Jean uses TK to stop them. Then she telepathically manipulates their digestive systems, disintegrates their weapons and suits, and threatens to kill them. They flee. Logan rides up and is alarmed that she's lit up as Phoenix.
Emma grabs Sublime, pushes him through the window, and holds him, screaming about her ruined rhinoplasty. Scott tells her not to kill, for pragmatic and moral reasons, but Johansson influences Sublime into wriggling free (says Emma) and plummeting to his death, in full view of a news team.
Jean says her bad feelings about Scott have been purged, and Logan introduces Angel. Hank emerges carrying Nova's body and says Xavier is trapped in it.
