Summary

  While Iacon is under seige from the Decepticons, Grimlock leads a small team of Autobots into the depths of Cybertron's core. Kup tries to pierce Grimlock's veil of machismo and suggested he might respect Megatron, an allegation Grimlock fiercely denies. They soon stumble across the Megatron's underground planetary turbines; realizing the vast scope of the problem, Grimlock orders the others to destroy the engines while he continues to search for Optimus Prime.

  Elsewhere within Cybertron's core, Optimus Prime and Megatron see visions of the future, including their fights on Earth and future generations of Transformers. They resume their fight as the visions whirl around them, unaware that Grimlock is getting closer.

  Back at the turbines, Starscream pointedly ignores Scrapper's concerns about the dangers of transforming Cybertron, and prepares to start the process and take over the planet. The Autobots overhear this, but are spotted by the other Constructicons. A firefight breaks out, and Starscream orders Scrapper to prepare the planetary transformation process.

  Optimus Prime's duel with Megatron is suddenly interrupted when he's pulled away by Grimlock. Prime realizes that Megatron's knowledge of the future is a dangerous thing -- and Grimlock points out that the only solution is for Prime to violate his ethics and kill Megatron. Grimlock gives Optimus Prime an ultimatum: either prove his leadership by killing Megatron, or be buried by Grimlock himself.

  As conflict rages all over, Starscream casually begins Cybertron's transformation process...
