Summary
Logan wakes on a beach and finds "Get out of this one, wiseass!" scrawled in the sand. Not sure what's going on, he starts walking and soon finds himself where he started: it's a small island, and he's marooned like Pyle's pirate (last iss.). Angry his claws aren't water wings, he sulks on the beach while a seagull grimaces at him. He's about to throw a rock at it, but a boy appears and hits him first.
Logan hears carnival music, and the boy runs off, because "he comes out at night." Logan follows into the jungle, but his sense of smell is off. He is attacked by a Yeti-like creature which runs off, and Logan follows the music to a bar. The patrons say nothing, and the bartender only says, "Hurry." A bottle is thrown at Logan but hits the shelf behind the bar; Logan turns and sees that he's left a bloody trail across the floor: he's not healing. He collapses.
