Summary

  Optimus Prime and the Autobots have been drawn by a strange sensation to the shores of Alaska, where they find a crashed Autobot vessel -- and a Decepticon ambush. As the fight quickly grows chaotic, Scourge appears, and announces to the disbelieving combatants that the Cybertronian war is over. He is then blasted from the sky by Shockwave, who arrives with a shipload of Cybertronians with the same news. Shockwave announces that he is the ruler of Cybertron, and orders the Earth-bound Transformers to surrender themselves so the new peace can be maintained. Megatron angrily fires on Shockwave, prompting the Cybertronians to counterattack. Finding themselves overwhelmed, Optimus Prime and the Autobots retreat, while Shockwave quickly subdues Megatron and captures the other Decepticons.

  Away from the battlefield, Optimus Prime leads the others back to headquarters, while Prowl and a small team stay behind to learn more. Meanwhile, Shockwave has the Decepticons loaded aboard his craft for the trip back to Cybertron, while ordering Blitzwing to stay behind and help a reinforcement team capture the Autobots. He is unaware, however, that Starscream has broken free of his CR Recovery Chamber and roams about the shuttle...

  At the Ark in Oregon, Ratchet is conducting repairs while the Autobots debate whether or not to give peace a chance, but the argument is interrupted by the return of Grimlock, who argues for immediate action. Back in Alaska, Prowl's team searches for signs of Scourge or Shockwave's crew, but with no success. They are suddenly attacked by Ramjet, Thrust, and Dirge, but the fight quickly ends when Mirage surprises Prowl with an old friend Autobot, who tells them to stand down.

  As Shockwave's shuttle heads for Cybertron, Megatron reawakens inside the cargo bay and angrily blasts a hole in the ship. From the next room, Starscream opens the bay doors, ejecting Megatron into the void of space, drifting helplessly...
