Summary

  Above the Well of All Sparks, Bugly, Mindwipe, and Bludgeon are fighting off Shockwave, who's leading every Decepticon available for an all-out assault on The Fallen! At the same time, blissfully unaware underground, The Fallen continues his vigil over the Seal of Primus, while Jetfire struggles to comprehend the gravity of their situation.

  As the Decepticon attack continues, Swoop watches from overhead, sharing the news with Prowl and the Autobots. They agree that the disappearance of Jetfire and Grimlock must be related to this attack, and Swoop adds that he's sensing a massive energy discharge underground. With no other options left, Prowl and Swoop agree to send their respective factions to join Shockwave's efforts.

  Despite their skills and powers, Bugly, Mindwipe, and Bludgeon are quickly overwhelmed by Shockwave's assault. While Swoop and the L-S-C join forces with the Decepticons, Jetfire tries to make peace with Grimlock, who's too busy breaking himself free to pay attention. Grimlock wants to attack The Fallen, but Jetfire stops him, arguing that whatever's happening defies both brains and brawn. While Trypticon pounds on the entrance to the inner chamber, Grimlock frees the others, then drags Hot Spot and Blitzwing away while Jetfire tries to contain what happens next...

  Jetfire successfully radios Autobase, and quickly explains to Prowl that he needs an energy containment field in his area. Jetfire then leaps against the Fallen and activates the field, surrounding himself, The Fallen, and the Seal of Primus within. Amused by this attack, The Fallen prepares to counterstrike, but is immediately vaporized by an ethereal glowing hand! In an instant, the containment field is gone, the Decepticons have broken through, and Jetfire is left facing a rapidly-cooling Seal containing untold energies...

  In the aftermath of the unknown, an agreement is quickly reached: the Well of All Sparks will be collectively sealed by all factions, to be opened again at some distant time in the future. Jetfire, meanwhile, is confronted by Grimlock, who tells him their feud is over. Jetfire agrees that things have changed; for too long, the Transformers have been wrapped up in their own little civil war, blissfully ignorant of the larger universe around them. But they have now been given an inkling of something else out there, a conflict far bigger than anything they have ever dealt with before...
