SHOWDOWN IN NIGHTSHADE

Summary

  Kasey convinces Gabriel to take a vacation to release some stress from his "other identity", which Gabriel still has not denied to having. At Nightshade, Travesty (formerly Rico Estevez) attacks Spider-Man. Angela is able to communicate with Travesty via a receiver implant in his head. Despite her pleas to let Spider-Man go to concentrate on Alchemax, but his rage cannot be abated. Spider-Man tries to round up the Corporate Raiders, who unleash their flying briefcases to chase Spidey. The briefcases actually save Spider-Man from being captured by Travesty before he destroys them. Back at the main controls, Angela whisks Xina and Miss Pivot away so that she can set the auto destruct sequence. In chasing Spider-Man, Travesty manages to take care of the Corporate Raiders, who realize that Nightshade's assets are frozen (with the self-destruct activated). Going back for Angela, Spider-Man and Travesty square off as the city explodes.

  Miguel overhears the commotion in the girls' locker room, and stops Kron. Kron forgets about Xina, and chases Miguel into a dead end by the pool, knife in hand and ready to use.
