Summary
Miguel O'Hara gets the red carpet as head of Alchemax, and it bothers him. He gets a closer look at Kron Stone without his Venom symbiote. Challenging his childhood nemesis mano a mano, Kron gets a good whipping and agrees to answer their questions. The Goblin pays a visit to Kasey Nash and Raff, proclaiming a new order for downtown without the need for the corporate pawn Spider-Man. Dealing with the loss of Dana, Miguel visits Xina, who is distraught over her ordeal. She actually gives her blessing to Miguel to run Alchemax. Downtown, the Goblin and the Vulture discuss their own hidden agendas for Downtown. Back at Alchemax, Dana's sister Father Jennifer comes to Miguel to express sorrow and learn about Venom. In a taped confession, Kron claims that the Punisher did not finish him off, but as he floated through the sewers near death, the mutated Venom symbiote saved him. It was the news of his Tyler Stone's shooting that brought Kron out, hoping he could be the one to put away his father. Miguel is interrupted by a cryptic message from Gabriel wanting Spider-Man to come Downtown. The Goblin is waiting for him.
