Summary
Dark Beast tells Nate he and Sugarman also survived the Age of Apocalypse universe, and he wants to mentor him. Nate fights him, instead.
Susan wakes with a hangover and realizes the crew is dead. Dark Beast grabs her, shows Nate that she hates and fears mutants, and offers to rule the world with him. Nate hesitates, then blasts him, but gets suddenly weak. Dark Beast explains that Sinister built in safeguards on his power, which will ultimately kill him, and he offers to help him live. Nate blasts him again, goes to find the X-Men.
Blaquesmith observes from a distance, then goes to warn Xavier.
Summary
Blaquesmith pilots his craft through a hurricane to get to Westchester. He ponders Cable, his clone Stryfe, and Nate Grey, and suddenly he comes under fire. He maneuvers, fires back, and gets away
