Summary
Nate finds Killgrave, and since he can't trust his senses, he lashes out in all directions at once and kills him, but turns out it's someone else. He looks up: holomirrors shift, and he realizes he's in a sophisticated illusion, with actors who are now quite scared.
Mysterio had abducted Nate while he was visiting a circus, and has used illusions to trick him into helping him steal.
Nate is horrified that he has killed a relatively innocent man, and he lashes out with psychic energy, busting the ceiling of this undersea base and letting the water flood in. He rescues Threnody, then realizes it's still illusion, and makes it all disappear, even the actors. He shatters various illusions Mysterio throws at him, then throws him an illusion of complete victory.
Nate leaves him to his delusions of grandeur, notes that his telepathy has returned, then collapses in the street, where Threnody finds him.
