Summary
Sabretooth, seemingly victorious, cherishes his victory over Wolverine by yelling out "I'm the King of the World!" Shadowcat lies on the ground with blood next to her. She is not dead, but rather, injured and unconscious. Sabretooth plans to use Shadowcat later on for his own benefits.
Meanwhile, in lowtown Madripoor, a band of Hydra members and Hand ninjas are ambushed by a hero who lurks in the shadows. The silouette outline of the hero appears to be Captain America with his shield. He quickly disburses of nearly all of the Hand ninjas with shocking efficiency. With one Hydra and one Hand remaining, the ninja discovers that the enigmatic character beating them was not Captain America since the shield was a trash can lid. From behind, the ninja is threatened by the hero who demands to know where Viper, Tyger Tiger, and Jessica Drew are. The ninja tries to slip his hand free to scratch the hero with his poison-dipped hidden knife, but the hero uses the ninja as a human shield against the Hydra agent. The Hydra agent recognizes the hero's face, and realizes he had to disburse of the hero at all means. He sets off a chain-reaction explosion on purpose to kill the hero, as well as the ninja and himself, which decimates the entire water front in flames.
On the other side of the waterfront, across the river, Logan emerges from his escape, talking to himself how the Hand will think they've got an Avenger wrecking havoc to their operation, and that he himself now had a free hand to stop them.
Aboard an old rusty oil tanker at sea, inside is where Matsuo Tsurayaba ran his organization. One of the Hand member, observing the local immigration registry, discovers that Joe Fixit, who is better known as The Incredible Hulk, was at a Madripoor hotel. Tsyrayaba decides to deal with Hulk immediately.
At a remote location, Logan talks out loud about what people could do with a computer and a modem could do nowadays, since he was the one who sent the false information that Tsurayaba's henchman had discovered. What Logan's motive was to spread the Hand's manpower thin so that he'd have an easier time taking down the main operation. He's also wondering how to rescue Shadowcat, too, despite already being injured pretty badly by Sabretooth (had his throat torn out and claws snapped by a fully-adamantium-nized Sabretooth).
Later on that night, at the Princess Bar in Madripoor, another band of Hydra and Hand members are patrolling the place. From above, Wolverine drops in, imitating the Hulk. Using some special effects, at the point where he lands, he sets off an explosion, taking out a heavy tank. Taking out a Hydra and Hand member, he hurls them at a Hydra member, imitating the Fantastic Four's Thing. Armed with a flame thrower, he imitates the Human Torch by torching a car, which explodes.
Meanwhile, in Madripoor hightown, Shadowcat appears to kidnap a ganglord named Bao Tien, demanding information, which he reveals to her: his henchmen kidnapped Viper when she turned to him for help, and she was turned over to the Hand, whose location he told her. Sabretooth shows up, and reveals that the reason he's using her is that he didn't want the Hand or Hydra to take over Madripoor since he considered Madripoor to be his "turf".
Back in lowtown Madripoor, armed with more special effects, Logan uses giant fans, power generators, and black market goods to imitate his X-Men counterparts Storm, Cyclops, and Beast to eliminate more members of the Hand and Hydra. While on the rooftop of a building, surveying the carnage he had caused to the Hand and Hydra, Chief of Madripoor Police Tai shows appears, telling Logan how the Hand and Hydra teamup had to be eliminated, for it could mean the end of Madripoor as they know it, and also tells Logan how a new prince was to be named tomorrow for Madripoor, and the invaders were going to propose Tsurayaba, but he wanted their alternate to be Viper, who was feared by all the crimelords of Madripoor and was married to Logan, whom all of Madripoor respected.
Later on that night, Logan invades the rusty oil tanker where Tsurayaba's base of operation was, but aboard, Sabretooth and Shadowcat is present. Logan wants to know what Sabretooth had done to her to make her follow Sabretooth's orders. He reveals that he had offered her a choice, which she accepted, unlike Logan, who didn't. A trap is sprung, and the three falls into the bows of the tanker as Tsurayaba's captives. Tsurayaba is adviced to kill them, but he planned on making them as slaves to the Hand.
