Summary
Mustang reveals to his fellow clinic patients at the camp that according to the X-Men (Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey, Cannonball), their "treatments" were turning them into souless cyborgs. Upon revealing the X-Men's location, three of Mustang's neighbors (Felipe, Arvell, Helmut) transforms into Prime Sentinels and attacks the X-Men. The X-Men easily defeats the first two. The third, Helmut, takes one of the patients and uses her as a human shield. The woman struggles, but is killed by the Sentinel. From behind, Logan decapitates the Sentinel and Cyclops destroys it with an optic blast.
As the five X-Men survey the damage, they begin to wonder exactly how many Prime Sentinels have been created this way. They decide to attack and destroy the clinic to prevent any of this experimentation to continue.
Later that day, on board an aircraft, Bastion is seen trying to gain contact to the Professor at the clinic to warn him what was happening, as well as panicking about news that an Israeli agent, codenamed Sabra, had arrived and had information that could damage them. He finally gets ahold of the professor and orders him to create more Prime units, as well as initiating "the Final directive", seeing that their operation was getting close to being terminated.
Out in the desert night, Jubilee is seen wandering through it after escaping from the undergorund base where she was being held captive. Meanwhile, at the clinic, as the X-Men are planning how to attack the clinic, Wolverine catches Jubilee's scent from the desert and heads off to investigate.
Back in the desert, Jubilee runs into a Sentinel after accidently using her powers to see a cactus in front of her. In the nick of time, after she seems to be at the mercy of the Prime Sentinel, Logan rescues her and disables the Sentinel. Jubilee and Logan are reunited, and the two heads back to where the other X-Men were.
Later on, the X-Men invades the clinic, only to discover that someone had beat them to it. As they search around, Cyclops locates the professor's office.
Back above, Bastion receives word that the clinic has been breeched. He realizes that the X-Men were inside their search circle, and he needed more Sentinels with advanced search capabilities. One of his men tells him that there was one sleeper unit with this capability down in the camp where the X-Men were which was awaiting visual system upgrades, but Bastion still gives the order to activate it.
Down at the clinic, we discover that Mustang was this advanced unit, and he transforms into a Prime Sentinel, ready to do battle with the X-Men.
