Summary

Wolverine boards the ship, and is immediately attacked by the military personnels aboard. The fight ends when Geist shows up with men that had lasers pointed at Logan. Wolverine demands to know why he had taken Roughouse aboard a ship as well as why the ship was loaded with cocaine. Geist takes Logan to see Roughouse, who was now totally bald and shaved. Geist explains that Roughouse was yelling, perhaps because the experience was traumatic for Roughouse. Logan demands to know why he chose to pick garbage like Roughouse, and exactly why Geist was here.

Geist explains that the man he works for, President Felix Garridad of Tierra Verde (who was also a cocaine trafficer), had been cherished by the U.S. for being an enemy towards his communist neighbors. The U.S. allowed him to borrow things to defend themselves against communism, including a chemically-engineered super-soldier named Nuke. Later on, though, Garridad became envious of the U.S. and what they had. He wanted to create a superhero like the Avengers...but one that came from his own country that can be a symbol for his country.

Logan interrupts, and tells him that he chose the wrong guy for the experiment, and that he should find one who would volunteer for this job. He frees Roughouse, and takes him. But suddenly, Roughouse is wide awake, and begins to fight Logan, for he had already been drugged by the odd cocaine. The fight carries over onto the deck of the ship. Geist uses some tranquilizer darts onto Logan, causing Logan to become woozie. Before his healing factor could rid his system of the tranquilizer, Roughouse put quite a beating on Logan, while Geist and his men recorded the data from this "experiment". But right before he throws Logan overboard, Roughouse is tranquilized too. A helicopter arrives, and Coy and Prince Baran steps out. Coy gives Geist back his money for some of the drug, while Baran gives Geist back his money in exchange for Logan. While leaving, Baran throws Logan out the helicopter to drown (because Geist had made Baran believe that Logan was going to be a threat to the stability of his country). Luckily though, Logan was saved by O'Donnell, Tiger, and Corrigan, who had been following.

Back in Tierra Verde, Sister Salvation is forced to stay with Garridad (whom she had divorced in the past to escape from Garridad when he became corrupt), and he blows up her mission to make her stay.
