Summary

In his continuing adventure in Japan seeking for the kidnapped Yukio and Amiko, Logan foils a plot by the cyberninjas of the hand to kill the Noodle Vendor, the person who knew about what was going on, but worked for no one. Defeating the ninjas, Logan managed to get the Noodle Vendor to tell where Amiko and Yukio were being held captive.

Meanwhile, we discover that Amiko has been hypnotized by Akatora and his helpers, and twists her memories into making her think that Logan was, in fact, the one that killed her mother in the past, and that Logan had actually enjoyed killing her. Amiko gives her a blade dipped in deadly blowfish toxin, telling her to bide her time, wait and learn how to use the blade, before she has her "revenge" on Logan for "killing her mother".

Logan, Pale Flower, Yohei, and a reluctant Noodle Vendor arrives at the island that not only acted as a set for Akatora's highly-successful films about a sympathetic fire-breathing monster named Kojiro, but doubled as his headquarters for his criminal activities. Arriving there, Logan encounters Akatora and his henchmen, and duels it out with them. With his friends' aid, Logan manages to take down Akatora, threatening to kill him unless he reveals where he hid Amiko and Yukio. But Pale Flower, Noodle Vendor, and Yohei had already found and rescued them.

Akatora reveals that one of those three (Pale Flower, Noodle Vendor, Yohei) was working for him, and Logan immediately throws his knife towards Yohei, seemingly killing him. Logan says he believes that Yohei was the traitor because he knew too much, he was too skilled, and he had smelled blowfish toxin on his dagger when the wind changed. Little did he realize, Akatora manages to escape, and not only that, Logan didn't realize that Amiko had been brainwashed, and that in the future, she might be his assassin.
