Summary

  Being held in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police cell for the disappearance and apparent murder of Yukio and Amiko, Wolverine and Pale Flower are attacked by a mysterious figure called the Iron Monk, who represented the hand. After disabling the guards, the Iron Monk proceded to attack Logan. No matter what Logan and Pale Flower hits him with (she hit him with a cinder block, he hit him with an iron bar and attempted to slice him with his claws), they just could not penetrate him.

  Suddenly, a small man shows up from a secret trapdoor and after verifying with Logan (still fighting) that he was indeed the one who was once bethrothed to Mariko Yashida, tells him that the Silver Samurai was elsewhere, and sends his regret about his absence of his familial duties to Logan, and as a token, wanted Logan to return his family's symbol, the Honor Sword. Logan uses it to kill the Iron Monk because the sword was forged out of meteorite iron by a deamon (the Iron Monk could not be slayed by any mortal hand nor blade). Logan, Pale Flower (knocked unconscious from the battle), and Yohei (the little man) escapes through the trap door.

  Meanwhile, we see how Amiko's captives were trying to poison her mind with tales about how Logan and Yukio did not love her anymore, but Amiko stands firm to her beliefs that they loved her. And meanwhile, we see that Yukio was still being held captive in the dungeon, being told stories of how the captors were tourchering Amiko. Also, we see how Akatora is not pleased with how things are going because they had been unable to terminate Logan and Pale Flower.

  On the docks where Logan, Pale Flower, and Yohei had escaped to, Pale Flower reveals that Yohei, despite his size, was actually the deadliest secret weapon of the Yashida Clan, and we see that this is true when he took out two would-be attackers with ease and without Wolvie's help. Yohei reveals to Pale Flower that she is a mutant, and she is stunned by it (Though they never do reveal exactly what is her mutant powers). He says how a certain Noodle Vendor in Tokyo was more than just an informer, that in fact, he was passing secrets to everyone about everyone, and that he (Yohei) had managed to hear that some info was being passed to an American Agent of the Special Mutant Task Force about Pale Flower.

  Logan though, is more concerned about rescuing Amiko and Yukio, and since he was planning to go up against the hand with him, Yohei and Pale Flower decides to join him to help rescue Logan's friends.
