Summary

  On Cybertron, a runaway Menasor is rampaging through Epsilon Quadrant, leaving shattered Autobots in his wake. But with a combination of deft moves and biting insults, Ultra Magnus and his team manage to disorient Menasor and bring him down. As the survivors recover, Twin Twist shows Ultra Magnus his new discovery-- one of Rumble's laser packs, buried in the detention banks' wreckage. Ultra Magnus heads to Iacon for answers, unaware that the city is under attack by the Dinobots. Grimlock quickly hunts down Shockwave to the Smelting Pools, but is stopped by Blitzwing from exacting revenge.

  Elsewhere on Cybertron, Broadside delivers Prowl and the other Earthen Autobots to an isolated outpost. Prowl and Ironhide disembark and meet Smokescreen, who explain that he represents a group of Autobots rebelling under Shockwave's unity. Complicating matters is a second group of Autobots who are also rebelling, and the ubiquitous surveillance all around the city.

  In an underground cell, Optimus Prime groggily awakes, only to be greeted by a Sharkticon. He leaps to attack, but is quickly held back by Blurr and Wheelie. Hot Rod then appears and holds off Prime at gunpoint, but is shouted down by Kup a moment later. Back at Iacon, the Dinobots' rampage is interrupted by a massive, shadowy figure that quickly overwhelms them. Grimlock's duel with Blitzwing is interrupted when he's shot in the face by one of Ultra Magnus' rockets, and the Dinobot leader quickly falls.

  At the rebel base, Kup quickly introduces Optimus Prime to Arcee and Blaster, and explains that Wheelie and Gnaw (the Sharkticon) have some strange symbiotic link. Blaster then explains that Shockwave's transmissions contain a set of subliminal signals that makes Transformers aggressive. Just then, Springer and Smokescreen arrive with Prowl and Ironhide, prompting Kup and Ironhide to greet each other with old taunts. Springer brings grim news with him -- the situation at Iacon has just gotten worse, as Shockwave has unleashed a massive Sentinel robot...
