Summary

  Tabitha watches Sam as their powers fail (courtesy the High Evolutionary, see Uncanny X-Men 379), and he falls into San Francisco Bay to be retrieved by the harbor patrol.

  Toby harrasses Kevin, a young mutant who can fly. Or could. He falls flat off the jungle gym.

  The team considers the wierdness of being normal while waiting for Sam in the hospital. Tabitha takes a walk and comes across Kevin, falling flat off a bench. She tells him it's better to be normal, but he runs off. Next day, he climbs a water tower to prove himself to his classmates. Patty finds Tabitha; she climbs up a catches him by the belt.

  Sam is fine.
