Summary
In the ruined mansion in the aftermath of Onslaught, Logan tries to make Xavier remember his accomplishments, not just his mistakes.
In a crater in Central Park, Bastion and Parker listen to Graydon's presidential campaign speech, while Jameson and Robertson watch on TV. JJJ senses Graydon's anti mutant stance is personal and orders an investigation.
In the boathouse, Scott blasts his alarm clock; Hank startles him in the bathroom and gets blasted and stuck in the bathtub. Scott lifts him out, then Bobby ices the floor and sends them both reeling back in, so Scott blasts him.
Jean is making breakfast; Quicksilver has been staying with them, recovering from the loss of his wife and sister. Betsy arrives, and Quicksilver races around doing chores, so he doesn't appear emotional.
Bastion walks through the rain beneath a personal force field and plans to win the genetic war by any means necessary. In his lab, Harper investigates Sentinel mutant tracking devices.
Xavier blames himself for Onslaught, since his great power means great responsibility. Logan says he should let the X-Men help: he knows what it's like to be a loner, but Xavier taught him teamwork.
Remy shows up, but Rogue has taken Joseph into town for breakfast. Remy considers changing his name to James; Bobby ices over Hank's pancakes. Logan comes in from the rain, unable to get Xavier to join them.
