Onslaught Impact 2

Summary

  In Roberto's mind: he wins his school's soccer game (an alternate history from New Mutants 1982 special). "Charlie" calls to him, and he chooses to go with him.

  Siryn finds herself the only survivor of Sinister's attack (last iss.), and telepathically calls Cable for help, but he's busy fighting Onslaught. She tries to revive each member of the team, but they die on her.

  In Meltdown's mind: she repeatedly kills Sabretooth, who betrayed her trust. Roberto asks her to join him, and she does.

  In Caliban's mind: he crashes to earth Superman-like, with Cable and Domino as the Kents. Roberto collects him.

  In James's mind: he runs with his brother John to stop a stampeding buffalo herd. He then joins Roberto.

  In Shatterstar's mind: he relaxes and only reluctantly joins Roberto.

  In Domino's mind: she is alone in the dark. Roberto makes her join up.

  The team follows Roberto toward the light. Charlie reveals himself to be Onslaught, trying to trick them into accepting death, and the team immediately turns against him. As Siryn says the Paternoster over their dead bodies, they revive.

  Risque is missing. Charlie appears, saying he is the goodness within Xavier that Onslaught cannot control. He saved Siryn, and X-Force's rejection of Onslaught has freed him.
