Summary

  Husk and Kevin hope Wolverine can take the werewolves, and they mock them, repeating their words, and Nicholas does as well. The werewolves attack; Lobo asks if Wolverine is surprised his bones can withstand Wolverine's claws: nature adapting to the threat of metal. Husk freaks: she can't face the werewolves again (UXM 418); Kevin can't think of anything funny to say; Wolverine tells Nicholas not to give in to instinct.

  At the mansion, Calvin and Heather get knocked onto the grounds by bad Havok, who's getting bored beating on them and wants to find Carter, who has untapped potential, and who left him in the void instead of bringing him back into the sunlight. Nightcrawler sees the battle; Juggernaut, Annie and Carter, and T.J. find him in his room. Nightcrawler, seeing T.J. wishes he'd been more careful, and she says it would take too long to explain. Juggernaut says Havok has gone bad and Carter needs a doctor; T.J. offers to possess Havok; Juggernaut does a fastball special and tosses her, which she wasn't ready for; she's unable to possess him because it's already crowded in there.

  Havok comes to himself, saying he remembers now the other-dimensional Havok, and he can't force him out of his body. He tells T.J. to kill him; she hesitates, and bad Havok takes over again.

  At Lobo Tech, Illyana attacks Archangel to get his blood; turns out he has reinforced gauntlets which can stop a sword stroke. Iceman ices over Mariko, surprised that both these women are alive again; Archangel knocks out Illyana; Mariko melts the ice and offers to help the X-Men save Husk: she and Illyana aren't really close.

  Nicholas asks the werewolves to stop, and Lobo asks why. Nicholas says they were nice to him, and Husk helped him fit in; Lobo says he's a wolf cub and belongs with him; Nicholas feigns agreement and suggests they keep Husk alive to lure Archangel, who's probably at the mansion. Lobo's convinced and starts off with Husk and Wolverine captive; Kevin has already been torn to pieces.

  Juggernaut can't believe Nightcrawler can't drive; he's driving Annie and Carter to the hospital, 40 miles away. Juggernaut notices dogs in the road, but it's Lobo's werewolves, who attack. Nightcrawler grabs a reluctant Annie and teleports away, leaving Juggernaut alone versus the werewolves and Havok. Boom.

  Nicholas runs back to the mansion, warning them that the werewolves are coming and carrying Kevin's arm, the only part he could find. He doesn't want to follow his insides and kill people, and he asks if they can put Kevin back together.

  Havok looks for Annie and Carter in the truck but only finds the smell of rotten eggs. Lobo arrives, carrying Wolverine.
