Summary

Xavier psychically calls "emergency" as the satellite blows up; Scott and Fantomex get away in a shuttle, but Logan's still on board. Scott tells Xavier there's an informant at the school as the shuttle crashes into the Pacific.

Emma tells Hank she's leaving as soon as he's done examining her; Hank rushes to Xavier's call; Jean announces she's going into space to rescue Logan, and Xavier tells her to be careful: he wants her to take over the school. Xorn lectures his class and gives Dust a challenge; she finds Xavier in Cerebra and attacks him as a dust storm, while Xorn tries to help him; Cerebra is ruined. Dust goes back to her classmates, who try to put her in a jar, but she storms on them. Xavier arrives and tries to calm her but can't till she resolidifies; he subdues her, she dissolves, and Xorn gets her into the jar.

Emma flies with Hank to find Scott; Hank doesn't believe there's a traitor at school, but then the jet's wing explodes.

Jean approaches the wreckage of the satellite and senses something happened to Cerebra. She suits up, leaves the shuttle, and finds Logan inside over the body of Weapon XV. Logan tells her to get out and has her look closely: they're on Asteroid M (Magneto's old base, where Logan was ripped to shreds, iss. 25).

Xorn claims Dust is a Muslim terrorist; Xavier knows he's the one behind her attack and tells him to let her out of the jar. Xorn admits he's trained his students to be terrorists, right under Xavier's nose, to create a new future: Planet X. The classroom door slam shuts and the lock turns; Xorn says Xavier should have guessed: there was no mutant prison in China (New X-Men 2001 Ann.), and he hated pretending to be Zen and passive. He raises a hand, and Xavier goes down; Xorn's nano-sentinels were all that kept his spine together, and now Xorn's cut the strings. His helmet levitates from his head.

Jean is credulous, but Logan has it all figured out: Magneto is alive and trying to provoke a war. The asteroid explodes. Magneto stands triumphant over Xavier, saying his dream is over.
