The Glamorous Life

Summary

  Kane and her mutie boy toy Jon make the tabloids. They go to a party where everyone reacts to his flaming hole. There's gossip about a mutant brothel in Nevada.

  Warren, Bobby, and Kurt find the remains of burnt Morlocks in the sewers (the true source of Marmite?). They find Jon in Kane's bed with handcuffs on, and try to bring him back into the fold, but he likes where he is. Indulgence trumps responsibility.

  Warren takes the portable Cerebra to find surviving Morlocks. They track them and run into Mr. Clean, who tries his flame thrower on Kurt and gets knocked in the back of the head. Warren gets the thing away from him, but he bests the two X-Men in hand-to-hand and shoots Bobby. Then he shoots the flame thrower, which explodes, covering his escape.

  Jon watches Kane dance at a club; she knows she's just famous because she's been marketed, but she's enjoying the ride.

  Logan flies in with the Blackbird.
