Summary

  Juggernaut is waiting in the lake for Jean and Scott to return home. He's afraid for the first time in his life, over Onslaught (who knocked him all the way from Canada to Hoboken, iss. 322). He finds an underwater security camera and smashes it.

  Bishop is repairing Cerebro (X-Men II:51) and talking to Remy: he's glad Sinister confirmed that his memories of the AOA are real (X-Men II:52). Remy wonders why Xavier wasn't able to do that. The computer alerts them to a "subaqua" intruder.

  Scott is unwinding in the Danger Room, with live ammo. Jean is rattled and tells him she met Onslaught (X-Men II:53), but the memories are already fading. He wants her to talk to Xavier; she wants some time to think.

  In Colorado, Warren and Betsy are unable to contact Westchester to warn them about Juggernaut.

  Sam talks to Xavier, doubting himself after Genesis (Wolverine 100). Xavier tells him to just leave; he's too busy with real problems to worry about him, and dismisses him.

  Remy and Bishop investigate. Remy: "We got a mansion in Westchester where we get to hang out all day wit' friends and the closest thing any of us have t'family, and we get to use all dis way-cool technology t'help in fightin' de bad guys. ... I mean, if de entire world didn't fear and hate us and want all mutants dead, we'd be having the time of our lives."

  Juggernaut jumps out of the water and easily flicks them away. "Is it me... or do they not make X-Men like they used to?quot;

  Dark Beast is examining Logan and having a hard time trying to match the real Hank's brilliance, so he lets Logan go. Ororo is concerned, then Sam comes to her, wanting to talk about Xavier.

  Bastion berates Graydon for attacking Kelly.

  Jean goes home and finds Remy and Bishop unconscious on the porch. Juggernaut says he could have killed them, but he's not there to cause trouble. He has the secret to Onslaught trapped in his head and needs her to get it out. He removes his helmet, as a sign of good faith.

  Xavier remembers that Nate forced his astral body into the physical world (X-Man 10), which let him do what he's doing now. He calls Scott in to tell him what a disappointment he has been. Scott doesn't let himself get rattled; Xavier turns out to be a hologram; the real Xavier is in his study and says it was just a test.

  Jean takes Juggernaut deep below the mansion to a psi-shielded chamber (cf. the Z'Nox, iss. 65), where they can work.
