Summary
Jean dreams about Phoenix taking her place. Warren fails to convince Scott to tell her about Madelyne.
Hank is reunited with his girlfriend Vera, who is now a free-spirit. Jean begins training Rusty in the use of his power. Scott tries to call Madelyne and finds out that she has moved.
Tower attacks, captures Hank, and delivers him to Dr. Maddicks, a former colleague at Brand Corp. He calls X-Factor to have them remove Tower and uses his son Arthur's mutant ability to read Hank's mind. He obtains a formula that will reverse mutations and tests it on Hank. His goal is to make Arthur normal.
X-Factor captures Tower and interrogates him to find Hank.
Hank goes into cardiac arrest as a result of the experiment.
