Summary

  Bobby plans to attack the Tatsu stronghold directly and rescue Opal.

  Hiro tells Opal of her parents: they were from warring clans and were not allowed to marry. Her mother sent her to America to save her from the Yazuka life. Opal tries and fails to escape on her own, and Tatsu'o has Hiro shackled but then, when Bobby attacks, gives him the chance to redeem himself in battle.

  Jean telekinetically transports Mariko and her ninjas into the compound, and they learns that Shizu'ko has poisoned Tatsu'o's tea. The ninjas free Opal.

  The Cyberpunks, jealous of Hiro, attack him, and Bobby saves him. Hiro is duty-bound to fight him, but they do so without enhanced abilities. Hiro is a much better fighter, but he allows Bobby to defeat him in order to prove himself a man, not a killing machine.

  The Tatsu'o mansion explodes.
