Summary

  Sauron comes alive (last seen dead in X-Force 9) beneath the same dock at which a boatload of Genoshan refugees awaits entry to the US.

  Val berates Jamie for the Rhapsody fiasco (see issues 79-81), and Alex berates Val for not talking to him first.

  Lorna returns from the hospital, jaw still wired but otherwise ready for action.

  Shrew has testified safely. Guido reveals his last name is Carosella and gets a kiss.

  The government wants to send the Genoshans back to their own country, but they don't trust that things are better there since the X-Tinction Agenda. The Brotherhood attacks and wants the Genoshans to join them. Pietro captures Toad but is felled by Phantazia. X-Factor then attacks in earnest (leaving Pietro temporarily twitching on the ground!). Sauron tells Rahne he killed Sam (X-Force 7, but he got better), and she transforms to wolf, striking out at Sauron and Lorna.

  X-Force subdues the Brotherhood, and agrees to escort the Genoshans home to prove that conditions there are okay.
