Summary

  In Ireland, Theresa screams and drinks herself stupid in her run-down garden, and James cleans her up and tries to convince her she has a problem.

  James gets Doneghann to try to find Black Tom, but instead he finds Juggernaut, and they tell the Cassidy story: Tom and Sean both loved Maeve; she chose Sean, then died while Sean was away (Interpol), leaving Theresa with Tom. Sean blamed Tom for Maeve's death and crippled him; Tom hid Theresa from him and raised her himself.

  Theresa talks to James: she was sent to boarding school at 12 and learned to drink there. Tom was sent to prison (by Sean) when she was 15, and she turned her back on him.

  Tom has been experimented on in France, is half-plant, and is deteriorating. James makes a deal with Juggernaut: turn Tom in, and he will get medical help.

  Tom and Theresa talk over Maeve's grave, reconcile, and take responsibility for their lives. Theresa gives up the bottle; Tom surrenders without a fight.
