Hodge returns for the reading of Warren's will and is physically and verbally assaulted by X-Factor. They denounce his anti-mutant ad campaign and throw him out. Hodge had ordered this attack to discredit mutants.
Bobby and Scott use their powers to fend off the attack and quickly depart to avoid revealing themselves as mutants. Apocalypse observes and laughs.
The Smile-Faces attack the kids living in the X-Factor complex.
