Judgment Day

Meanwhile, One Earth...

Summary

Hank and the Rejects' attempt to rescue Warren has developed into a regular brawl, which becomes a revolution when Lev and Seera convince the Dualers to rebel against the Chosen.

Scott and the Beginagains learn of Christopher's whereabouts from a science robot and free him and Jean. Scott's presence helps Jean to suppress the personalities of Phoenix and Madelyn Pryor and regain her sanity. They together destroy the city's power supply, letting the Rejects in the arena attack the Chosen.

Dykon is blinded by Palik and then forces him to remove his and Warren's blindness, enabling Warren to defeat Rask.

The Celestial called Arishem descends from the sky, ready to destroy the planet with the formula of destruction on his thumb. Ship appears, to warn X-Factor that they should leave immediately, but they only give Christopher into its care. Jean wants to help save this world, to make up for the world that Phoenix destroyed.

Ryest, Palik, and Zharkah unite the Beginagains, Chosen, and Rejects against the Celestials to save their planet. Jean melds all their minds together but is afraid that by holding so much power she will be corrupted by Phoenix, so Scott acts as her focus. His optic blast in the shape of a phoenix cuts off Arishem's hand. The Celestials depart, leaving behind another Ship to record the progress of this world.

Jean had fed Phoenix and Madelyn into that blast as well, so she is now free of them, except for the memories.

X-Factor return to their Ship, and in hyperspace pass by the ship containing Lilandra and a very ill Xavier.

In his base below Mt. Everest, Apocalypse forces Loki to reveal himself, battles him, and drives him off with the help of an enhanced Caliban.
