Summary

  Three times, Hank comes across Vera, his ex-librarian ex-girlfriend, who is now a street-walker/cellist/hot dog vendor and does not know him. He is attacked by a monster inside a hot dog cart. Mesmero reveals himself as the cause of this confusion. Vera frees herself from his mind-control, and Hank defeats his goons, who turn to ashes. Vera is actually now a teacher and aware of Hank's relationship with Trish.

  Infectia observes, having been the one who hired Mesmero to attack Hank.

  Meanwhile, Warren is still missing and delusional.
