Summary
Aurora, a mentally unbalanced French-Canadian, attacks Kyle, angry that he left her, and now able to focus her light as concussing force.
Forge is fixing Bishop's holographic projector, which contains the essence of his sister Shard.
Dark Beast is monitoring Random, whom he has sent to capture Alex, who had been a prelate in the Age of Apocalypse timeline. Random decides he likes Lorna better than the Dark Beast, but he is being physically controlled by him.
Northstar and Puck arrive to stop Aurora from killing Kyle. He talks to her, explaining that for a while his mutation had made him handsome, and they had been in love (Alpha Flight 102-130). When his face went ugly on him again, he left without explanation. Aurora doesn't buy this one, and attacks him again. Mystique impersonates the handsome Kyle and calms her down, but he reveals the trick, and she overextends her powers and collapses. Northstar takes her back to Canada.
