Summary

  In the desert, Naze battles and is defeated by the Adversary, leaving Roma to contact Forge.

  While working out with Lorna, Forge is attacked by an invisible agent.

  Random battles Alex and believes he killed him. He breaks contact with the Dark Beast, only to find out the hard way that Alex is not dead. They pummel each other, and Random claims to be doing this against his will, and that he is not really like he is. Havok brings down the building, and Random emerges with a slimmer body and knocks him out. Fatale ports in and ports back to the Dark Beast with Alex. She has already forged a note from Alex to Lorna, saying that he needs time alone.

  Roma opens a portal to Falls Edge and contacts Forge, but the Adversary thereby learns his location.
