Summary

  Nate dreams of Forge, who tells him he's dreaming and warns him that many want to use him. He wakes to kiss Maddie, but that's a dream, too, and he wakes kissing Threnody, in a Red Cross station with the victims of the avalanches he caused (last iss., Cable 30-31).

  Not sure if Threnody is working with Sinister, he enters her mind. He sees her buried under dying bodies and pulls back before he gets pulled in. He then removes the psi-baffles from her head, and her accumulated death energy explodes. Nate is knocked out, and she considers abandoning him, but then takes him to the Mediterranean to recuperate. They discuss the fact that his power may kill him, and she claims to be able to help.

  Maddie takes a bubble bath in Selene's tub. Her wound (last iss.) is already healed, and she doesn't remember her past.

  Shaw and Tessa are attacked by Onslaught, who wants Shaw's ally Holocaust to capture Nate. He attacks him on the beach.
