After Xavier: The Age of Apocalypse
Summary
The X-Ternals flee the Imperial Guard, while Rictor just surrenders. Starbolt at-tacks Sunspot with solar energy, and Gladiator throws a rock onto Guido: mis-takes both. The team makes it into a forest, but the trees attack them. B'nee and C'cil can't track them, but Rictor says he planted a tracking device on one of them. Emperor D'Ken's telepaths have warned him about this planet, Ch'reesharaa, and these mutants.
The universe blinks. The "nexus expan-sion" is approaching, so Gladiator orders retreat.
Jonath, half-Shi'ar and half-Mephistoid, says D'Ken used the M'Kraan crystal to oust Deathbird and kill Lilandra. But since the nine stars aligned, the power is out of his control and nullifying the universe.
The Imperial Guard finds and attacks them, but the world begins to crystallize. Just in time, the Starjammers teleport the X-Ternals to their ship. (Note: Deathbird's name is revealed to be Cal'syee.)
