Summary
Logan and the rest are still giving chase in their plane. Meanwhile, in Madripoor, O'Donnell and Police Chief Tai are talking about the murder. O'Donnell now has the stone with him. The police chief noticed it only when he said there was blood coming from his pocket, and O'Donnell pulls it out. Tai wishes to have it as evidence, but O'Donnell strongly says no. Obviously, he's being corrupted by the stone, too. After Tai leaves, McCabe wanted to see it, for she said it seemed to pulse, but O'Donnell refuses to show her again.
Meanwhile, back in the air, Drew is thinking about what's been going on. After being attacked by gunfire, Drew takes matters into her own hands, and leaps from their plane onto the other plane. Logan finally dons his traditional Wolverine costume (the brown and gold one that we had grown accustomed to at that time), which basically meant his secret identity as Patch was officially over. He leaps from their plane to join Drew in fighting Ba'al and his followers on their plane. A pretty nasty fight scenes ensues over on that plane. Ba'al with his stone transforms one of his follower into a hideous beast which does battle with Logan on the plane. It pretty much was a see-saw battle until the beast crushes the pilot's skull, causing the plane to go out of control. Right when Logan advances in on Ba'al, the Beast attacks Logan, and hurls one of Logan's claw into the electrical panel, shorting out the plane, and in the process, electrocuting the monster. Logan and Drew barely escapes the plane, but with the piloting skills of Archie Corrigan, they escape.
Meanwhile, back at Madripoor, O'Donnell and McCabe, enjoying their privacy, are interrupted by guards with guns who bursts into their room. Johann, the Prince's aide, enters, and tells him that the Prince had heard O'Donnell had something the Prince would be interested in, and the Prince wanted it now.
