Summary

  After consuming Wolverine, Spore advances on a powerless La Bandera (for her followers had ran away out of fear). But, Logan suddenly is seen clawing his way back out of Spore. Spore wonders how he managed to not be absorbed, but Logan explains he's got an adamantium skeleton, coupled with his healing factor. Wolverine then starts fighting Spore, hurting it, which causes the followers of La Bandera to realize that it could be hurt, and so they all join up to fight Spore. But too many were being absorbed by Spore, making him bigger, so Wolverine, La Bandera, and her followers had to fall back.

  Logan discovers that Sister Salvation, Roughouse, and Palo Caridad had not ran away like he had told then to, but Sister Salvation says that she wanted to test her "gift" of healing on Spore. Logan reluctantly agrees, so La Bandera and Logan manages to make Spore fall down, while Sister Salvation touches him with her "healing" powers. Spore writhes in pain from her touch, which it compares to the fire that the Celestials had rained upon him. And just like that, Spore is killed.

  Sister Salvation is surprised that her hands were burned quite badly this time, since before, any burns weren't as bad as this time. Logan says to her that maybe the Celestials had foreshadowed the reappearance of Spore, and had gave some a talent for "curing", but Salvation says to Logan that maybe, in a simpler explanation, that she herself could be a mutant too.

  Morning comes. Roughouse tells Logan that he had decided to stay here with Sister Salvation to help her rebuild her mission. La Bandera has decided to continue with her revolution. And Logan? Well, he's decided to go find Geist, and indeed, finds him in his old hiding place in Tierra Verde's capital. Logan "disassembles" Geist's body armour, leaving him to die there. Later on, though, he discovers that he had escapen, thanks to the CIA, who had been using Geist all along as their secret leak. Logan was NOT happy about it at all, especially since he was a former Nazi-supporter, too.

  Logan then returns back to Madripoor to even some scores. He kidnaps the Prince and Gen. Coy and takes them to the sewer. He frightens them about the cocaine and how the spore could consume their body, and says that he "could've" given it to them. He then frightens them by leaping at them with claws extended. They run away.

  Much later on, we see Logan returning to Australia to rejoin the X-Men there. Meanwhile, we see that Geist was still around in Washington DC, but he was paid a visit by Magneto, who claims that he, Geist, had killed his wife while in the concentration camps, and would like to talk with him.
