Summary
Inside the motel room, Spiral starts babbling about how the room that Mystique and Wolverine were currently in was the intersection of five different strings in the time stream. Wolverine and Mystique thinks she's totally lost it. Suddenly, from a picture that Mystique had sliced, a being known as a Plasma Wraith blasts out, and after some quick move by Spiral and Wolverine to literally disarm the wraith, the being disappears back into the painting.
Once again, Spiral begins to babble about how she was entering the time stream, and within a television that she plunges her sword into, she shows pictures of alternate Spirals from alternate universes, and starts babbling about how they were all plummaging towards the temporal covergence, which was basically the end of time. Suddenly, a beam of energy fires from the television, narrowly missing Jubilee outside. As she pulls her sword out, Spiral teleports herself, Wolverine, and Mystique to a place "where time folds in on itself". Jubilee, outside, sees a sudden tornado appear from the room, and then, the tornado disappears, with the three missing. Jubilee enters the room, but instead, encounters Mojo.
Wolverine, Mystique, and Spiral are hurled into the end of the future. There, they encounter another plasma wraith, who threatens to kill them for intruding at the end of time. Wolverine tries to slice at it, only to be burnt. The Plasma Wraith is momentarily disrupted by Mystique morphing into Mojo, which gives Wolverine and Spiral the opportunity to destroy the Wraith. Wolverine asks Mystique how she was able to figure out that Mojo was behind the scam. Mystique said the Wraith was babbling movie-talk, and the only being who knew how to navigate through time and space and wants to make movies was Mojo. Spiral warns of how Mojo had unleashed a jumble of circumstances that was threatening all existence, and it was up to them to enter the Citadel at the end of time to stop it.
Back in the motel room, Mojo kidnaps Jubilee and teleports them out of the room.
A brief scene in Canada, Albert, Elsie Dee, and the Hunter in Darkness stumbles onto an abandoned government site on an ancient Blackfoot Burial Ground, and there, while searching around, they discover a skeleton that was unlike any other skeleton there: one with adamantium claws.
