Summary

  Wolverine and Sauron are continuing their battle against each other. Just when you think one has the advantage over the other, the situation will suddenly flip around. Wolverine gets his tendon sliced, his back ripped open, and yet, through all of this, he continues to fight on.

  Meanwhile, Jubilee tumbles out of her cave and onto the back of a pterodactyl that is the property of Gronk, a native there. Jubilee lacks control of the pterodactyl because, as one of the native tells her, she needs a mind-link to control the pterodactyl. Gronk, on another "flier", as he calls it, threatens to kill her because she had embarassed him in front of his tribesman.

  In another part of the Savage Lands, where Rogue was being held captive, she manages to escape by breaking the chains that was holding her down. But in doing so, a electronic beam that was supposed to hit her and transform her back into a primordial state is taken full-force by a small lizard instead of hitting her. As a result, the lizard transforms into a gigantic lizard (which represent its ancestors). Rogue knocks the lizard out, takes down Gaza, and forces Brainchild to tell her who was behind all of this.

  Back to the fight between Sauron and Wolverine. After a few exchange of words and struggle, both of them finds themselves at the bottom of a chasm. Sauron flies out, and commands his followers to throw rocks and bolders down, presumably, flattening Logan.

  To Jubilee's situation: using her walkman, she manages to knock out Gronk by smashing it into his face. He falls from the sky. Jubilee realizes that she had won, but yet, he was going to die. Somehow, the pterodactyl understands her, and saves Gronk. Gronk's tribesman accepts Jubilee as one of them because of how she manages to get the pterodactyl to obey her, and they will have a party that night.

  Back to Rogue, who heads back to camp, and discovers Jubilee missing, as well as stampeding dinosaurs. Little does she know that the dinosaurs were heading for the chasm that Wolverine is in. Wolverine had survived the impact of the bolders, but Sauron commands the dinosaurs to go over the chasm and plummet towards Wolverine.
