Summary
One would think that Wolverine would die with so many rampaging dinosaurs plummaging over the ravine and falling towards him. But Logan knows better than that. Using the mounting pile of dinosaurs as a type of ladder, he slowly makes his way back to the surface.
Just then, Rogue, who was investigating the dinosaur stampede outside, finds the cathedral that the fight between Logan and Sauron had been going in, and it is there that the dinosaurs were entering. Upon her entrance, she encounters Sauron.
As Logan makes his way up, he is the unfortunate victim of four T-Rex who thinks he's food and tries to tear him apart. Meanwhile, Rogue and Sauron are still fighting among the rafters. Wolverine somehow manages to break free, and in the process, scares the natives away because he was still alive after all that abuse he had taken down below. Meanwhile, Rogue suffers a blow from Sauron and plummets to the ground. Sauron is about to finish her off until Logan, from behind, grabs Sauron and threatens to throw him down the ravine towards the hungry dinosaurs. Rogue convinces Logan to not do that, and instead, she has in idea to cure Sauron.
Back at the ancient ruins that Rogue had first run into during this adventure, Rogue plans to use Brainchild's machine to revert Sauron back to Dr. Karl Lykos. Sauron warns them that in doing so, he'd kill Sauron because Sauron and Lykos exists as two separate entities, and starts accusing them of trying to modernize beings there that should be left as savages because after all, it is the savage lands there. Logan buys the story and sets Sauron free.
Meanwhile, Storm and Bishop arrives to pick up Logan and Rogue. They had earlier picked up Jubilee from the Pterodactyl party that she was at. Since their initial mission was to obtain artifacts for Professor X, they decide to bring back a stone monument of a fist back with them. In the flight back, Bishop tells of how they found Jubilee at the party, and they were trying to get her engaged to a spouse, which was female (because they mistook Jubilee for a male).
