Summary
Down within the base that's also known as the "Ant Hill" in the past for its shape on the exterior, Wolverine and Jubilee battles it out against the Sentinel (who has renamed itself 3.14159) and four other Sentinels. As Wolverine and Jubilee battles it out against the Sentinels, a few of them getting damaged, the 3.14159 Sentinel shows uncanny behaviors of using strategy, as well as human-like thoughts in not only strategy, but also in the treatment of the other Sentinels that it had activated.
Just when it had appeared that Wolverina and Jubilee were going to be trapped, Jubilee and Wolverine are able to counterattack by cutting the head off of one of the Sentinels. Another Sentinel seems to attempt to protect it, but in the process, overloads its own circuits. Jubilee had the opportunity to turn the unit off, but doesn't do it because the unit was "apprehensive of the darkness". In the meantime, as they were about to attack another robot, the main Sentinel wonders why Jubilee had not disabled that Sentinel, and after awhile, it decides to stop the solar flare from happening because it found a new primary mission: to analyze the processes and functions that, to it, seemed so important to organic beings, and decides to use the entire Ant Hill computer system to do so. But it would take it over 2000 years to compile the program and calculate what its new primary mission would be. In the meantime, the Sentinel transports them back to the present. At Jubilee's request, they were transported to Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles in the present, Wolverine takes Jubilee to the office of Sally and Jocko (refer back to the earlier issues that witnessed the appearance of Albert and Elsie Dee for more details) and demands to know where Reno and Molokai were. Later, in Burbank, while Molokai and Reno were picking on a citizen there, a red Mercedes sideswipes Molokai's car. Molokai and Reno gives chase after them all the way up Mullholland Drive. There, the Mercedes stops and Wolverine and Jubilee gets out. Molokai and reno recognizes Wolverine and pulls out their gun. But Jubilee blasts them with her powers, and beats up the two out of revenge. She has the option of killing them and Wolverine was saying how it would be so easy for her to do it and she wouldn't even be traced. Jubilee, though, doesn't want to kill, and instead, kicks the two in the groin, hard, and she and Wolverine leaves the scene.
