Summary

  In a bank in Scotland, Logan is trying to cash in a check, but is held at gunpoint by some anti-terrorist soldiers because his name, Logan, was on a most-wanted list in the bank that he was at. Expediter steps in and tells the soldiers that Logan wasn't the one they wanted. After they leave, Expediter tells him that the soldiers were looking for a guy with adamantium who had slashed open a steel vault to steal the money, and that person had used the name Logan. Logan asks how she knew it wasn't him, and she says that she had scanned his body, and there were no adamantium traces within him, and also, from a security camera, the image was that of Cyber.

  Expediter continues to say that although she knew he wasn't the imposter, there wasn't enough evidence to prove that he was the real Mr. Logan. He pops out one claw to prove that he's Logan, but she was still not satisfied.

  At the Edinburgh University in that part of Scotland, Cyber had demanded from one of the scholars there to show him an adamantium skeleton that they had unearthed there. The skeleton resembled Wolverine's adamantium skeleton in many ways.

  Back to Expediter and Wolverine, where Expediter still is not fully convinced that this was indeed the real Logan. She tells him that she represents a firm that puts money into his account, and Logan recognizes that as of Landau, Lockman, and Lake (recall Wolverine #5 for more details). In the room there, Expediter tells him that her mentor was Chang, who had rescued her from an orphanage at an early age and had paid for her care, and she had found out that he had died in Madripoor, drained of blood and crushed under a collapsed building. She thought Logan was responsible for that, but Logan, still possessing the honor sword of the Yashida, gives her the sword to analyze the blood trace on it (since he had slain Bloodscream with it in the last issue.)

  As she scans it, he is attacked by Cyber from the outside. The two gets into a struggle and falls to the bottom floor of the building. Cyber tells him how he was going to allow some Death Watch Beetles to eat away at Wolverine's flesh, and then after that, he would sell his adamantium skeleton to some associates of his. Logan pops his claws to prove he doesn't have any adamantium anymore. Just then, Cyber is momentarily disrupted by the 1AM gunfire from the castle-turned museum. Logan leaves some deep gash marks within Cyber's face. Cyber, in turn, floors Wolverine and using one of his feet, snaps off one set of bone claws on Logan. In his mercy, Logan is saved by the Expediter who tossed a heavy file cabinet from the top floor, which falls directly onto Cyber. The two makes a dash for it, and at Logan's request, they are bound for Muir Island.
