Summary
Shang-Chi takes the measure of the X-Men, while fighting the cyber-ninjas who attacked them. They defeat them but are unable to force information from them. Then their employer, Shaw, reveals himself. He goads Jean, who attacks him. She is still angry over his involvement in the Dark Phoenix (iss. 129-137, of course). Ororo stop the fight, then they adjourn to the local Hellfire Club to talk.
Shang-Chi notices that Sam has gone off alone. He is quietly blasting beneath a rickshaw, suspicious of its driver. He winds up in a Fujukawa truck.
Shaw proposes an alliance with the X-Men, to get the Elixir Vitae to combat the Legacy Virus. The X-Men wonder if they can trust him.
Campbell provides Shaw with Moira's information on all the Legacy Virus victims.
The X-Men approach the Fujikawa building. Inside, Sam has knocked out the guards, but turns to find the Kingpin, who then confronts the X-Men.
