Summary

  In the Decepticon base on Earth, the Minicons have found Over-Run's Null Reality Pod. Over-Run, Sparkplug, and Commetor hop inside, then wait for the transdimensional coordinates they need to rescue Optimus Prime...

  On the ruins of Cybertron, Optimus Prime watches as Spinister gives himself to the destructive power of Unicron. Sensing that Optimus Prime is not from this reality, Unicron interrogates him. When Optimus admits he doesn't know how he arrived here, Unicron explains that he had destroyed this reality's Optimus Prime, then sent the corpse ahead to the Armada universe as a forewarning of his pending arrival -- and Prime's reality is next!

  Jetfire and his Autobot team reach the space bridge nexus in the ruins of Decepticon headquarters. Each bridge has been opened, and is currently flashing views into different realities. Blurr is unable to shut down the system, and Jetfire -- aware that Optimus Prime is somewhere out there -- gives the order to destroy them. On Earth, Thunderwing, Scourge, and Dirge have finished a fruitless "interrogation" of Thrust when they sense that the space bridge nexus has been breached...

  Outside the Autobase on Earth, Megatron cackles victoriously as he stands triumphant over Galvatron's remains. Fearing that Megatron is unstoppable with that he has the Star Saber, the Land Military Team attacks, allowing the Air Defense Team to break free of Megatron's grasp. Sky Blast suddenly reports that he's located Optimus Prime, and the Null-Reality pod vanishes after him.

  While Rhinox and Overload fend off a renewed attack from Bludgeon, Blurr tries unsuccessfully to get the space bridge nexus to accept a self-destruct code. Jetfire orders the other Autobots to escape, opting to stay behind and enter the code manually. As Thunderwing's team returns from Earth, Jetfire activates the destruct mechanism, jumping through the portal where he saw Optimus earlier. The base explodes, taking the interdimensional Decepticons with it...

  ...and Jetfire suddenly finds himself on the ruins of Cybertron, near Optimus Prime! As Optimus tries to explain the situation to Jetfire, the Null Reality Pod arrives with Over-Run, Sparkplug, and Commetor. Working quickly, Sparkplug and Commetor powerlink with Optimus and Jetfire, then Over-Run gives Optimus his mysterious artifact -- a Minicon Matrix, containing the essence of his reality's Minicon power -- and overloads Optimus Prime with its power!

  Prime and Jetfire combine to attack Unicron -- but even with their newfound power, they can only hurt him, and no more. Calling for a retreat, Over-Run powerlinks with the others, allowing them to escape back to their own reality.

  As the Autobots regroup on Cybertron, Optimus Prime assesses the damage at Autobase. He orders the critically-damaged Smokescreen to be transferred to Cybertron, makes plans to deal with Megatron, then has Longarm issue a summons for all Minicons -- for Unicron is arriving...
