Summary
The Exiles rally the former gladiators, while Richards, Parker, and Banner break into the Skrull arsenal, and Kevin helps them find a special weapon. Clarice says they'll try various options and hope something works. John wants T.J. safe: she's pregnant with his child, but they need her to pilot the ship.
Phase one: a wave of missiles, which don't even get close enough to do damage. Phase two: Kevin shoots Galactus's machinery, but it doesn't stop him, and he lands.
Capt. America finds a hole beneath his force field and takes a group to attack; Galactus turns and disintegrates them all.
At least that proves the force field doesn't go underground, so Harvey and his mole men dig and put a massive bomb under Galactus. He falls into the crater, the force field drops, and all the heroes attack. Banner: "Dogpile on the demi-god!" Galactus fights back, but Kevin shoots a device into his back and fells him; Banner tries to get an anti-matter bomb to him but gets repelled, so John picks it up and makes a suicide run, and pierces Galactus's armor. The bomb starts a chain reaction, and Galactus decides there must be easier worlds and flees.
John is rushed to a med lab, but he's brain dead. The Tallus says it's time to go, and Sasquatch appears, saying he's the new team member. T.J. is anguished, but they have no choice.
