Summary
Weeks ago: the team foiled a bank robbery in Cancun, and the Tallus grants them a week's vacation. Clarice wants Mariko to keep Kevin busy while the rest of them go to the nude beach; she's reluctant to waste her day but agrees that Kevin is too immature to go with them. She announces she's going to buy lingerie, and Kevin eagerly tags along.
He gawks at her in various states of undress and tells her he knows she's just keeping him out of the way -- he's not stupid. She says they just didn't want to hurt his feelings, and he agrees he's not ready to see Calvin naked.
They see a cigarette billboard and agree it's shameful that tobacco companies pressured in the U.S. just advertise in other parts of the world. Calvin's mother died of lung cancer when he was 13; Mariko doesn't want to talk about her parents.
T.J. admires Calvin's bare tuckus, and Clarice lets her look but not touch. James is swimming, or rather walking underwater, and he and T.J. have become close.
Kevin eats a restaurant-full of food and makes many jokes, including one about Calvin being gay. Mariko questions him, and he admits his stern father pushed him into becoming a clown. Mariko finally opens up, saying she ran from her strict parents to America, and they'll never accept her because she's a mutant and gay. Calvin is upset (he thought he had a shot?), but just makes more jokes, and they remain friends. They go to the beach to throw water balloons at their teammates. Kevin transforms into a catapult to throw them all at once, and he's filled the balloons with beer.
