Summary

  Kane is stranded in the future by Cable (see miniseries) and watches videos: in the Grand Canyon, Cable's base is attacked. Jenskot is killed; Tyler is abducted by Stryfe.

  Kane is attacked by thugs and beats them off. He is observed by Calm and Haight, who sends the Flatliners to eliminate him as a chronal anomaly. He returns to the Clan Chosen's hideout in the Village. He gets them to replay what they know about Tyler:

  Stryfe attacked the Clan in Chi-town. Tyler was brainwashed by Frisco and took Dawnsilk hostage, neuro-linking to her. Cable shot the link, causing neural damage to both, and bodyslid his team out.

  The Flatliners break into the Clan's base. Dawnsilk is taken hostage, and Cable ports in just in time to save her, then takes the Clan to his Adirondack base (X-Force 1, Uncanny X-Men 57).

  Haight inspects Sinsear's work in Africa: many dead rebels. He offers to send him back in time to kill Cable.

  The Clan plans to destroy the new time nexus in Niagara Falls, before Apocalypse can send someone back in time to kill Cable.
