Summary

  Moira and her ward Rahne go to investigate trouble on the mainland and find Cable, newly arrived in this time, speaking Askani to Craig who is wielding his Bible and inciting mob violence, as usual. Cable manipulates the crowd's minds, and they wander off peacefully.

  Moira takes Cable to Muir and runs tests. Her really big sensor drives Cable's t-o arm wild and then explodes. Cable telekinetically saves her from falling equipment, then telepathically learns English from her (so why doesn't he have a brogue?). He has come to find Xavier, and she plans to take him to her one-time friend.

  Cable's arrival has awakened Apocalypse in Switzerland.

  Stan notes that Cable erased Rahne's knowledge of him (New Mutants 89). (He also must have erased Moira's knowledge of his t-o, cf. iss. 9.)
