Summary

  Cable and Bridge tussle, while Kane gets coffee. He gets them to call a truce. Cable learns that Graymalkin exploded (X-Force 21), and that Domino and Grizzly are looking for X-Force (X-Force 23).

  Domino, Grizzly, Hammer, and Copycat find X-Force's old base in the Adirondacks. They dig it out (X-Force 13) and use its computer to track X-Force's mutagenic signatures to Camp Verde. Landing there, they are accosted by Cable, Kane, and Bridge. Cable learns Vanessa had impersonated Domino, and he rejects her.

  Sinsear scans transmissions and finds Cable.

  Hammer attacks Cable and plans to make him a paraplegic like himself. Kane stops him, saying Cable has a way to cure him, but he won't use it: he doesn't want to be half-machine like Cable. Vanessa escapes; Cable is unable to promise to tell Six Pack the whole truth, so they leave without him.
