Summary
Cable goes to Muir to meet Rachel, his half-sister from another future. She convinces him to go to Scott and Jean's wedding; that there is hope for the future.
In London's sewers, the Acolytes find the dead and dying: victims of Omega Red. Katu yells out to the villain who killed his family, and he attacks. But when Milan offers to free him from his death spore virus (which forces him to feed on other people's life forces), he stops and listens.
Moira is enjoying her new resident heroes, sending Kitty and Rachel to help WHO, while running tests on Cable (they are old friends, too). She sees now that his metal parts are t-o (alive) rather than bionic.
There is an intruder while Cable is still being tested, so Moira grabs a very big gun. But Omega Red renders her unconscious with his virus, then beats on Cable. He is about to steal a virus-curing doohickey, when Cable attacks again. Then Omega Red turns on Moira's cybernetic dampener, which puts Cable down.
As Cable wakes he sees Mother Askani, telling him to go home and save his people. Then Rachel is standing above him; she and Cable are linked.
Kitty says Omega Red needs to gather a few more items to cure himself, but that will release the virus into the air. Cable says he will take care of it; then the Acolytes show up, wanting to help.
