Summary
The world goes on. Cable and Domino survey their situation: Murderworld is blown up (X-Men Prime), the Legacy Virus is public knowledge, and anti-mutant hysteria is growing.
Siryn is gone; Cable won't say where (see X-Force 44ff). X-Force's newest member Caliban has found the PACRAT in one piece, and Cable and Jean use TK to lift it out of the rubble. Cable collapses temporarily with the effort, and his T-O virus goes out of control, but he is soon up again, barking orders.
Cable takes X-Force to Westchester, then gets a telepathic cry for help from Blaquesmith, and races to Baltimore with Domino and Caliban. Blaquesmith is based in an old freighter; they blast in, get through the defence systems, and free him. He had been attacked and trapped under some equipment; the attacker wanted data on Cable.
Moira's computer logs have been accessed, and that's how the Legacy Virus became public. She realizes the stolen data puts Cable in danger.
