Summary

  Cable and Jenskot arrive in the future with Domino not far behind them. After knocking out a few of Stryfe's guards, they make introductions, and make their way through Stryfe's camp to Aliya's.

  Stryfe has Tetherblood captive, and a green glowing object of Cable's.

  The younger Dayspring is feverish, fighting off a psionic attack from Stryfe. Cable tries to help him, but he mistakes his mind for Stryfe's and fights him off. So Cable reaches out and makes contact with Professor.

  Domino goes to shoot the young Stryfe, and so prevent a lot of trouble, but Cable stops her, since he knows that fiddling with time has destructive consequences.

  They enter Stryfe's tent and retrieve Professor and Tetherblood. Korless turns out to be a traitor to the Askani cause and pulls a gun on them. Cable gets Professor to bodyslide them out, leaving Korless to explain things to Stryfe.

  Cable gives Professor to the younger Dayspring, says goodbye to Aliya, and returns to the present with Domino.

  Young Dayspring rises from his sickbed and leads his army in a victory over Stryfe.
